Give
us a call, we love to talk bikes. We hope that you will find working
with a skilled craftsman one-on-one to be an incredibly enjoyable
experience that will change your outlook on cycling forever. We are
here to help you through the process and to create something that is
tailored to your needs and beyond.
Here is the process we will go through from start to finish:
Step 1
Call
us and we will have an initial “interview”. We will go over your
cycling history, your likes and dislikes about your current/previous
bicycle, your riding style and your cycling goals. We will then figure
out which model and material will best suite your cycling needs. We
will also discuss pricing, delivery time and component choices if you
are purchasing a complete bicycle.
step 2
After
we talk, download our PDF fit packet and questionnaire, fill it out and
return it to us. This packet will give up more detailed information
about you as a rider. After we receive it, we will chat again about
tubing selection and ride characteristics and nuances about the
bicycles fit and riding position.
step 3
We
will then create a custom CAD drawing of your new Mosaic bicycle. We
send you the CAD drawing and you can review our suggested bike plan.
Once satisfied with the blue prints, you will sign off on the drawing
and send us a non-refundable deposit for 50% of your frame’s cost to
secure your spot on the builder’s calendar and get the building process
started.
step 4
We
will then build your bike. After it is built, we will carefully run it
through our quality control process making sure no detail is
overlooked. If your bike is getting painted we will then send it to Spectrum Powder Works in Colorado Springs.
step 5
Upon
completion of your frame you will pay the remaining balance due on your
bicycle and we will carefully pack it up and ship it to you. If you
purchased a complete bike we will do a pro build on it, which means we
will assemble it for you. We will have to remove the bars, pedals and
front wheel to ship it to you safely, but it will only take a few
moments to reassemble
step 6
You
ride off into the sunset knowing that you will be enjoying your new
Mosaic bike for decades to come. After you have a chance to put some
miles on your new bike, please keep in touch. As a small business, we
think of our customers like extended family. If you are local please
join us for our weekly Mosaic group ride and enjoy some “product
testing”. Also we would like to put a picture of you and your bike on
our website in the owner’s gallery section. Send us a picture and we
will post it on the site.
